Lisa Wilkens arbeitet an der Schnittstelle von Zeichnung und Druckgrafik, Produktion und Reproduktion, Technik und Technologie, Mensch und Maschine. Sie arbeitet mit chinesischer Tusche, lithographischen Steinen und 3D-Druck. Ihre künstlerische Forschung beinhaltet die Theorie und Praxis der Bildgestaltung, Wissenschaftsgeschichte, Ideologieforschung und künstliche Intelligenz.
Sie wurde 1978 in West Berlin geboren. Nach vielen Jahren im europäischen Ausland lebt und arbeitet sie dort wieder seit 2019.
Lisa Wilkens works on the intersection of drawing and print, production and reproduction, technique and technology, humans and machines. She works with brush and Chinese ink, lithographic stones and 3D printers. Her artistic research incorporates practice and theory of image-making, the history of science, political history and artificial intelligence.
She was born in 1978, in West Berlin, Germany – where she now lives and works.
